Ed Peterson has written the definitive numerology book. He walks you step by step through how to do the math, and then describes each of the numbers 0 through 100 in detail. Nothing esoteric here. Only concrete, tangible, practical, real world numerology. Numerology for you and your life. Or, if you prefer, a sort of spiritual Sudoku.
Since each of the numbers 1 through 78 corresponds to one of the 78 tarot cards, this book is an invaluable reference for tarot card interpretations.

July 4th
7 + 4 +2+0+1+2 = 16 = USA’s personal year (from July 4th, 2012 to July 3rd, 2013) = Shocks. Surprises. Unpredictable. Anything can happen. Expect the unexpected.
Hi Mr Peterson, It has been so wonderful to stumble upon your work! Been gathering as much information as I can in pursuit of my thirst for subjects like these. Can you help me with identifying a career/job to pursue at this time in my life and in general? Also finding my N Node number has been elusive…Born on Nov 2nd 1974 at 13.10 HRS in Chennai, India.
Many thanks in advance,
Grey Elephant
If you were born at 1:10 p.m. then your Ascendant is at 20 degrees Aquarius and 36 minutes, and your North Node is at 10 degrees Sagittarius 26 minutes. That would put your North Node in the second decan of the 10th house, and therefore your North Node numbers would be 66 and 71.
Since 71 is all about profession, it makes sense that you’d be asking about careers to pursue.

11 + 2 +1+9+7+4 = 34 = your life lesson = what you are here to learn = Speed. Pace. Quickness. Rapidity. Swiftness. Fastness. Dexterity. Agility.
So any career that allows you to capitalize on your quickness and dexterity. Sagittarius rules long distance travel. One specific career choice doesn’t leap out at me. Perhaps knowing your name would help me be more specific.
keep running & exercising,
